Patient-specific silicone implants for reconstructive and aesthetic surgery

About the company
LDS implants
Innovative technology for the production of custom silicone implants for aesthetic surgery.
Silicone custom implants are more pliable than their porous material counterparts, providing surgeons with a more comfortable implantation process. LDS implants are manufactured from biologically inert medical-grade silicones.
Currently, the company is conducting research on a new type of implant made from bone acrylic cements with the addition of bone matrix for bone replacement therapy.
Patented patient-specific preoperative 3D planning allows for a more precise and personalized surgical approach
LDS implant methodology enables the modeling of a patient's future appearance based on real physical data, including the actual extensibility of tissues, the course of nerves, and the anatomy of blood vessels. While preserving the patient's unique facial features, we strive to enhance their appearance, aligning it with the most aesthetically pleasing ideals specific to their cranial anthropologic type.

Through years of collaboration with Moscow State University's Department of Anthropology and extensive experience in reconstructive surgery, we have developed a unique technology for modeling and manufacturing custom silicone implants.

Demonstrated long-term implant stability without resorption
One of the significant advantages of custom silicone implants is their stability, with no shifts in the frontal, sagittal, or horizontal planes. Additionally, there is no resorption at the implant-bone interface due to the congruency of contact surfaces and uniform pressure distribution on the bone from the implant.
LDS implants
Demonstrated long-term implant stability without resorption
There is no resorption at the implant-bone interface due to the coincidence of contact planes and uniform pressure distribution on the bone from the implant.
Repeated multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) and radiographic examinations of patients who underwent placement of custom facial implants at 48-92 weeks post-operatively demonstrated an absence of bone resorption at the implant-bone interface. In contrast, standard silicone or porous implants exhibited significant bone resorption.
our raw materials

We use Silbione™ silicones

Silbione™, an ultra-pure, bioinert medical-grade silicone provided by Elkem (Norway), is the primary material used in the fabrication of LDS implants.
certification

The laboratory is certified according to ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 13485 standards.

Production based on the laboratory for research and nanotechnology in medicine at the Technion in Haifa (Israel).
our products

Our company specializes in the production of patient-specific silicone implants to address a wide range of cranial aesthetic and reconstructive needs.

Chin implants
Chin augmentation with an implant is a surgical procedure designed to alter the shape and projection of the chin through the placement of an implant. This technique is employed to establish more harmonious facial proportions and enhance overall aesthetic appearance.
A chin implant is used to address developmental issues of the lower jaw. A personalized implant can increase the chin's width and height, and can be sculpted to achieve a more square or rounded look based on the patient's aesthetic goals.

Chin augmentation implants are available in two sizes: small (not reaching the inferior alveolar nerve) and large (extending to the angles of the mandible).
Cheek implants
Tailored silicone cheek implants provide a precise and customizable solution for midface augmentation. By modifying the contour of the zygomatic arch and compensating for inadequate bone volume, these implants contribute to a more harmonious and aesthetically pleasing facial profile.

Zygomatic implants are manufactured for both the left and right sides.
Mandibular angle implants
Mandibular angle implants are used to augment the jawline and create a more defined profile.
Mandibular angle implants are designed to correct developmental defects of the mandible. Custom silicone implants allow for an increase in height and width, correction of asymmetry, and alteration of the mandibular plane angle.

Mandibular angle implants are manufactured in left and right configurations.
Full mandibular implant
A custom silicone implant for total mandibular augmentation is designed for significant corrections of developmental jaw defects. Custom implants allow for increasing the height and width, eliminating asymmetry of the mandible, as well as changing the angle of the mandibular plane and recreating the desired contours of the lower jaw.

Mandibular augmentation implants can be fabricated as monolithic or modular components, designed to accommodate the varying degrees of surgical complexity and implant volume required for individual patient cases.
Cranial implants
Customized silicone cranial vault implants are designed for the correction of developmental defects, post-traumatic deformities, deformities related to craniotomy, congenital deformities, and patient dissatisfaction with the appearance or asymmetry of their skull. Individual implants allow for an increase in the volume of the occipital, parietal, and frontal bones, a change in the shape of the forehead, and the elimination of asymmetry.

Cranial vault implants are manufactured as either solid units or with a grooved assembly, depending on the size of the implant.
